I love my satellite radio. LOVE IT. If you have XM you should know that currently Ch. 51 is all Metallica and Ch. 53 is nothing but AC/DC. Not sure how long it will be this way but I am enjoying it while they are there. Almost makes me wanna grow my mullet back...

This week I drove by our soon to be new house and found an "Under Contract" sign up in front of the house. 3 weeks and it is ours. I cant wait.

I got stopped by the police yesterday. Seems the dealer forgot to put the date on the bottom of my temporary tag. Not my problem. I was polite to the officer and he quickly determined that the car was in fact mine and not stolen. Years ago I had just bought a Camaro (I didnt have a mullet then either)and got stop for allegedly violating the posted legal speed limit. After finally writing me a ticket, the officer asked how fast the Camaro would do. Did he really expect me to answer that? Seriously, what a stupid question.

The Camaro and my new Maxima were both purchased for LESS than the invoice. I am surprised at how many people pay sticker price for an auto. When I had just bought the camaro, some guy pulled into a parking space next to me in a Camaro he had also just bought. His had far fewer options but he paid more than I did, and thought he had gotten a good price. Recently, an acquaintance was looking at my Maxima and told me she is thinking about buying a new car and leaning towards the Maxima. She paid maybe $200 less than the MSRP when she bought her last car and thought that was a good deal. I told her I would tell her how much I paid and what she should pay if she goes with the Maxima.

Last weekend I went to a friend's son's hockey game. He is 8ish and plays goalie. I took Bryson with me to his first game which he slept through... Last week we watched the Thrasher rookies on TV take 2nd place in a rookie tournament. Bryson enjoyed the movement and colors on the TV. I also took him to a Thrashers Town Hall meeting where Bryson got to meet the best mascot ever. I cant wait for hockey season to officially start.

I am now down 26 pounds since June. 2 more weeks of boot camp and I should be below what I am listed on my drivers license... After boot camp is over I'll try to post some before and after pics. I think I am running my first ever 5k Oct 4 (the day after the end of boot camp). Let me know if you wanna join me.
